As part of its media campaign to promote the "E-Ports Project”, the Ministry of Interior announced the launch of the second phase of free registration for the e-gate service. The registration process starts as of Sunday in Al Ain Shopping Mall, Al Ain and will continue for two weeks.

 Major General Ahmad Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ and Acting Director General of the Electronic Services at the Ministry of Interior, stated that the total number of individuals registered in the E-Ports has added up to 357,657 individuals, out of which 333,000 have registered at the arrivals hall of Terminal 1 at Abu Dhabi International Airport, since the launch of the process last October. 54th SES satellite to be deployed into 28.2/28.5 degrees East orbital arc

The Traffic and Patrols Directorate at the Abu Dhabi Police seized 2,534 vehicles for driving at dangerous speeds on the internal and external roads of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi; dangerous speeds are defined as speeds above 200 km/hr.
