A joint team from the Anti-Narcotics Federal Directorate General and the Anti-Narcotics Department at Sharjah Police, in coordination with the concerned authorities, succeeded in seizing an Iranian ship of which the captain attempted to smuggle a large quantity of narcotics, as well as two Iranian nationals through Khalid Port in Sharjah.

The Ministry of Interior called upon owners and drivers of foreign trucks and trailers, to observe and get acquainted with the Saudi technical regulations pertaining to protective devices in foreign trucks and trailers crossing to or travelling to Saudi Arabia to avoid being prevented from entering the Kingdom.
The ministry had received a letter from the competent Saudi authorities to that effect. The letter stated that trucks and trailers that fail to comply with and violate the technical regulations and standards will not be permitted to enter the country, effective as of April 9 next year.
