The Ministry of Interior’s council, hosted by UAE national Mohammed bin Bakhit El Ketbi in Al Ain, discussed the “Role of National Service and its Impact on Personal Development”. The council is part of a series of awareness councils organized by the Law Respect Culture Bureau, in cooperation with the Security Media Department at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
The host of the council, Mohammed Bakhit Al Ketbi, stressed that national service is one of the most important topics that is addressed by the councils. “National service nurtures the concept of positive patriotism amongst future generations. It represents an honorable way to reflect the importance of embodying the values of loyalty and giving back to the homeland,” he said.

The YPO Global Pulse Confidence Index for Africa, which tracks CEO confidence levels in the region on a quarterly basis, slipped 3.2 points to 57.4, on the back of a sharp drop in confidence in South Africa.
