The Police schools Department, at the Human Resources Directorate General at Abu Dhabi Police, recently organized a number of field visits for the 91st batch of male recruits and 38th batch of female recruits, to acquaint them with police field work. This falls in line with the academic curriculum of the Basic Training Course for police recruits, which is currently held at the Police Schools Department in its Suwaihan headquarters.
The familiarization visits included the Punitive and Correctional Establishments Department; the Special Tasks Department in Al Ain; the Ports and Airports Security Department /Al Ain; the Al Ain Operations Room; in addition to Al Hili and Al Maqam Police Stations.
Recruits were received upon arrival by police stations directors, heads of departments, along with a number of officers and employees. They were given a detailed explanation of security and police disciplines and tasks entrusted to each station within its jurisdiction, in order to maintain security and stability. They also reviewed the administrative divisions of these stations and their development stages during the past years, in order to improve the security services provided to the public. The recruits were also acquainted with the most important daily issues, the actions taken accordingly, and the means to organize the relationship between the police and society.
