The Ministry of Interior discussed means to boost mutual cooperation and coordination in various academic and training fields with the Paris-Sorbonne University-Abu Dhabi (PSUAD).
These topics were discussed during a joint meeting between Colonel Khalifa Butti Al Shamesi, Head of the Training Department at the General Directorate of Human Resources at the Ministry of Interior; Professor Dr. Eric Fouache, Chancellor of Paris-Sorbonne University-Abu Dhabi (PSUAD); and Dr. Fatima Saeed Al Shamesi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Administrative Affairs at PSUAD.
During the meeting, which was held at Colonel Al Shamesi’s office at the Ministry of Interior, a number of issues of common interest were discussed between both parties, including means to boost cooperation and exchange of expertise in the field of postgraduate studies and training courses in various fields; so as to serve the ministry’s strategic objectives.
Colonel Al Shamesi said that the meeting was constructive and fruitful, and aims to strengthen cooperation with external partners, to improve work to the highest standards, so as to reflect the Ministry of Interior’s strategy.
The Paris-Sorbonne University - Abu Dhabi delegation expressed keenness to boost cooperation with the Ministry of Interior in providing various training programs.
The meeting was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Omar Al Khayyal, Chief of the Training Section; Major Rashid Shaheen, Chief of the Planning Section; along with a number of officers from the Training Department at the General Directorate of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Police.
