The Federal Crime Scene Department at the MoI’s General Directorate of Criminal Police celebrated the graduation of the 3rd specialized course for "Crime Scene Chief Examiners”. The three-week course was held at the Crime Scene Village Section in Ajman, with the participation of 7 officers and non-commissioned officers from the various police GHQs affiliated to the Ministry of Interior.
Lieutenant Colonel Salem Khalifa Al Dir’e, Acting Director of the Crime Scene Department, stressed the attention dedicated by the ministry to develop police personnel’s potentials and acquaint them with the latest developments in police and security fields. Moreover, he underscored the importance of such courses, which enhance participants’ sense of accuracy, field expertise, and knowledge in the various security aspects.
In his address to the graduates during the ceremony, Al Dir’e reiterated the police leadership’s keenness to improve the levels of training and provide best resources to trainees, so as to promote development efforts in all fields. He added that participants received theoretical lectures and practical trainings on the role of crime scene chief examiner, upon receiving notification; arriving and securing a crime scene; his responsibilities; the various safety and security procedures applied at crime scenes; as well as the importance and means of communication with partners at crime scenes.
At the end of the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Al Dir’e handed over certificates to the graduates, wishing them luck and success in their professional life.
