ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Wednesday, April 6th 2016 [ME NewsWire] Major General Maktoum Ali Al Shareefi, Acting Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, received the top achieving runner Rashid Butti Al Qubaisi, who ranked first in the Spartan Race, which was held for the first time in the Kingdom of Bahrain, on April 1, 2016. Major General Al Shareefi praised the outstanding achievement made by Al Qubaisi, as the first Arab and GCC runner to bag the title in the race, which is regarded as one of the toughest endurance races that require high physical fitness.
