The Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi announced that the BaniYas and Al Rahba centers will be open for business on Saturdays, to welcome customers wishing to receive and complete their transactions. This reflects the Directorate General’s commitment to provide the best services and support to customers and its keenness to constantly deliver excellent, stand-out customer service.
Colonel Abdullah bin Karou’ Al Falahi, Head of Entry Permits Department at the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi said: “This measure is the first phase within the framework of the Directorate General’s objective to deliver 24/7 services. It is also commensurate with the government’s plan to relieve pressure on service centers and ensure quick completion of transactions; ultimately saving both time and effort for customers and helping them complete their transactions in a timely manner.”
Colonel Al Falahi noted that work hours at both centers will be from 08:00 a.m. to 02:00 p.m. The BaniYas Passport Center will be providing services to citizens wishing to submit and process applications related to domestic workers; while the Al Rahba Passport Center will be handling online services for public and private companies in order to complete their transactions.
In conclusion, Colonel Al Falahi invited citizens and representatives of public and private sector companies to benefit from this service and visit both Centers to complete their transactions with ease. He also noted that both centers have been receiving customers since December 12.
