Delegates will gain deep insights into CSR and Sustainability reporting practices
Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Sunday, December 6th 2015 [ME NewsWire]
Two training sessions on the increasingly important subject of CSR will be organized by the Arabia CSR Network in the month of December. The broad objectives of the courses are to help delegates gain acumen that they can apply within their respective organisations to enable sustainable operations and sound business practices.
The CSR Advanced is a unique course that has been developed by the Arabia CSR Network based on past trainings offered in collaboration with the renowned Asian Institute of Management in Manila. The CSR Advanced course will focus on the theory and practical applications of value creation through sustainability. It is meant for people with a basic understanding of CSR and sustainability concepts and issues, as well as some Business project Planning and Management know-how. The CSR Advanced course will be delivered over four days.
The GRI sustainability reporting course will be imparted over the course of three-days. It will prepare delegates on the concepts and technicalities of the Global Reporting Initiative or GRI G4 Sustainability Reporting framework. It will be useful for both current and potential CSR practitioners. The former can use the course to prepare for a sustainability report based on the GRI framework, while the latter can utilize the knowledge gained to develop an effective CSR strategy and implementation roadmap. The GRI G4 course is directed at sustainability practitioners, reporters, researchers and consultants.
The Arabia CSR Network is only one of two certified training partners of the GRI in the Region. It was the first to launch the GRI sustainability reporting training courses in the Arab world in 2011, and is also the first to offer the latest GRI courses in Arabic.
Both training courses have certified content based on international standards. Certificates will be issued to successful delegates upon completion of the courses. The trainings will be facilitated by a set of highly experienced trainers who have in-depth subject matter understanding and high awareness of local sustainability issues. Interested persons can get in touch with the Arabia CSR Network to reserve seats for the sought after trainings.
