Trolley.ae brings 3D Shopping Experience to Dubai Metro Users
In cooperation with Etisalat and RTA Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Sunday, October 25th 2015 [ME NewsWire] Virtual Store at the MOE Metro Station is the first-of-its-kind in the Middle East Omar Awwad: The service is aligned with Dubai’s fast-paced lifestyle and technological advancements. Trolley.ae, the Dubai-based online grocery store that provides groceries and fresh food delivery service to the local market, has launched its first-of-a-kind Virtual Store service at the Dubai Metro stations in cooperation with Etisalat and the Road and Transport Authority (RTA). With a total of six planned locations, the first Virtual Store in the Middle East is now operating at the Mall of the Emirates (MOE) Red Line Metro station, which was installed on 15 October. The Virtual Store, which enables commuters to shop for their groceries while they wait, consists of a 3.5m x 2m 3D touch screen where shoppers can select items from the virtual shelves, check-out, and choose a suitable time and location for their groceries to be delivered to their doorstep. “We are bringing the store to the people of Dubai instead of asking them to come to the store itself. Time is precious, and we know that,” said Omar Awwad, the CEO of Trolley.ae. “Dubai is a fast-paced city, with people rushing around to attend to their busy lives. Instead of spending time going to the store for their grocery shopping, Trolley.ae’s Virtual Store harnesses Dubai’s technological advancements in order to enable customers to shop on the go - which makes life easier after a busy day and also frees up more time to do the things that they actually want to do.” In addition to the Virtual Store operating in the MOE Metro Station, five more are scheduled to be installed over the next consecutive months at other metro stations including the Baniyas Square Green Line station alongside the following Red Line stations: Dubai Internet City, Damac (Dubai Marina), Financial Center (DIFC), ADCB (Al Karama). For Dubai Trolley.ae customers who wish to avail the online grocery services via other means may also have the items on their grocery list delivered to their home through the company’s website, http://www.trolley.ae/, or through the free mobile app available for download. The company touts an expansive inventory of groceries and items from a number of various local and international suppliers, and uses its own fleet of cars for the deliveries. - End – About Trolley.ae Established in 2012, Trolley.ae is an online grocery store that operates in Dubai providing grocery and fresh food delivery service to the local market. The company operates purely online, with thousands of items from local and international suppliers available for delivery through a click of a button.
