UAE and China Discuss Ways to Boost Security Cooperation
ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Thursday, October 8th 2015 [ME NewsWire] In a meeting held at the Dubai Police Officers Club on Wednesday evening, Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, met with Chun Dong, Representative of the Chinese General Security Minister, Deputy Director General of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of General Security in the People's Republic of China, along with his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, both parties discussed a number of topics of mutual concern alongside the ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and coordination between the UAE and the People’s Republic of China in various security and police fields. The meeting was attended by HE Lt. General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of the Dubai Police and General Security; Major General Khamis Matar Al Muzainah, Commander General of the Dubai Police; Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police for Criminal Investigation; as well as a number of officers.
