Students from the Al Bawadi Primary School visited the Air Wing Department at Abu Dhabi Police.
Major Engineer Ahmed Abdullah Al Dhaheri, Maintenance Branch Manager at the Air Wing Department welcomed the students, and briefed them on the different tasks and duties carried out by the department in search and rescue operations, as well as in providing medical care and first aid to the injured, among other tasks. He also acquainted students with the helicopters used in these missions; in addition to their missions and equipment available on board. Students were also given the opportunity to inspect one of the planes closely, and took commemorative photos.
The visit aims to acquaint students with the valuable efforts exerted by the police to reinforce security and safety in the country, and with the instrumental role of the Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Department in providing humanitarian assistance to patients and injured people.
