The After Sales Service Division at Al Majid Motors, the sole distributor for Kia vehicles in the UAE and member of the Juma Al Majid Group, organized the first phase of the Best Service Advisor competition. The nation-wide competition was held in Dubai at the Kia Training Center in Ras Al Khor on April 12, 2015; in which a number of service advisors from each Kia service center participated and qualified.
The Best Service Advisor competition represents the global vision launched by Kia Motors Company four years ago for all of its international distributers. This vision aims to improve the performance levels of service advisors working with distributers.
The competition consists of two phases. The first phase involves choosing the best local service advisor from each country. The second phase, which will be held in June 2016 in Seoul, Korea, will culminate in the selection of the world’s best service advisor.
“The competition takes place over the course of a day, and includes a theoretical and written test, followed by a realistic simulation of a customer visiting a Kia service center for car maintenance. Numerous prizes have been allocated to honor the participants of the competition.” Said Mr. Suleiman Al Said, Department Manager.
It is noteworthy that there were many strong competitors in the fierce competition. Syed Yasir Ali, service advisor at Ras Al Khor Service Center won first place in the competition; followed by Adeel Javid, from the Al Quoz Service Center in second place; and Sajad Khan, from the Abu Dhabi Service Center in third. The winner of the competition will represent Kia at Al Majid Motors and will be competing against other participants from around the world in the international competition.
