Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, attended the “Falcon” Training Wednesday morning. The Headquarters of the Special Security Forces under the Ministry of Interior conducted the training in the area of Seeh Al Mahab in the city of Al Dhaid. The participants of the training included every police and security entity within the Ministry of Interior (MoI) alongside a number of ministries, the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA), and other competent authorities in the UAE.
Participants stressed that the security and stability of the UAE are the top priorities of the higher leadership as they strive to keep the UAE at the forefront of the world’s most stable, secure, and safe countries; and to continue on in the quest of development towards more advanced, prosperous, and progressive levels.
The participants valued the support of the higher leadership for the system of police work and for providing such opportunities to the citizens of the UAE to always be able to safeguard the security and national gains of their country. They additionally expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to carry out the higher leadership’s vision of providing a safe life to citizens, residents, and visitors to the sacred land of the UAE.
His Highness toured the accommodation area, which includes a housing camp. He also attended a simulation scenario on the treatment routine of injured people and locating missing persons, and was briefed on the services provided to the injured at the accommodation area. Sheikh Saif also toured the Punitive and Correctional Institution’s new building, which is currently under construction at the Special Security Forces Headquarters, and was given a detailed overview on the project, which was designed according to highly advanced standards.
In conclusion, His Highness praised the efforts exerted by participants in the training, and urged them to double the efforts in order to further boost security and safety in the country and provide protection and safety to community members.
The training was attended by Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior; HE Lt. General Dhahi KhalfanTamim, Deputy Chairman of the Dubai Police and General Security; and police director generals and chiefs alongside a number of MoI senior officers.
Colonel Staff Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Hajiri, Commander of the Special Security Forces at the Ministry of Interior said that the “Falcon” Training fosters and develops the capabilities of the Special Security Forces and advances their performance and abilities according to the best and most advanced standards.
