The Strategy and Performance Development Department at Abu Dhabi Police organized the second Knowledge Exchange Forum for 2015.
The forum was inaugurated by Major Khaled Hussein Al Khoury, Director of the Knowledge Center of the Strategy and Performance Development Department at Abu Dhabi Police. He explained that these knowledge forums promote the spread of the knowledge culture in every police sector and transform practical and scientific realities through the implementation of best practices. He noted that these forums present an excellent opportunity to discuss and review distinguished experiences, and to exchange knowledge and to enhance performance. He said that this is achieved by synchronizing the strategies of the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters and of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Anthony Fox, Liaison Officer of the Australian Federal Police and Head of the Research and Investigation team for the Malaysian airplane crash, provided a presentation regarding the mechanisms used to handle crises and disasters, how to form work teams, how to identify the concerned parties, and how to appropriately distribute tasks.
Concluding the forum, Fox was gifted with a commemorative shield in the presence of a number of Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarter employees.
