During a meeting held recently, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) discussed the Corporate Excellence Project and the performance of the excellence teams in the Residency and Naturalization Sector. The meeting was chaired by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs, and was attended by general managers and directors at the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Sector.
The meeting discussed the system and discipline of the human resources in the sector. Major General Al Khaili pointed to the need to comply with the instructions of the human resources system.
He said: “The UAE government is keen to improve the quality of life in our society, and to embody the strategy of the MoI by providing excellent services to promote the trust of the public and increase the satisfaction of the customers regarding the provided services in accordance with the best international standards.”
The Strategy and Performance Development Department in the sector provided a presentation regarding the outcomes of the Corporate Excellence Project. The attendees reviewed a presentation regarding the performance of the excellence teams, as well as the stages of preparation and completion of the various excellence awards.
The participants also reviewed the subject of the duplicated consolidated figures in the services offered by the sector and of the proposed solutions. They also discussed and made the appropriate decisions regarding a number of topics related to work flow and specialized procedures in regards to residency and sponsorship of some occupations.
