The Al Ain Police Officers Club recently organized a two-day health education program in cooperation with Al Waha hospital. The program included several health awareness activities, in a bid to build a culture of health amongst Abu Dhabi Police’s staff members and customers.
As a part of the program, comprehensive medical check-ups were conducted to measure blood pressure and blood sugar levels, as well as Breath carbon monoxide tests, and body mass index (BMI) tests. The tests were carried out under the supervision of a specialized medical staff.
The campaign embodies the commitment of the Abu Dhabi Police to spread health education and proper nutrition amongst its staff members and customers. It also aims at underlining the importance of a sound health and proper nutrition, which would positively impact individuals’ career performance and interaction with family and society.
The Al Ain Police Officers Club constantly seeks to strengthen partnership with community institutions in order to exchange experiences and avail of their services that are beneficial to both parties.
The program witnessed a large turn-out of attendance by the public and officers and individuals from Al Ain Police who conducted a variety of medical check-ups. They also praised the organizers of this event, acknowledging its impact on their health.
