Les bourses d’études s'adressent à des particuliers, des organisations ou des institutions appartenant au milieu artistique et culturel.

Funds for professional theatre performances based on Henrik Ibsen’s plays are now available

SKIEN, Norway - Thursday, January 29th 2015 [ME NewsWire]

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Funds amounting to NOK 1.000.000,- (approx. Euro 115.000,- /USD 129.000,-) will be awarded to theatre projects worldwide.

Scholarships are applicable to individuals, organizations or institutions within the artistic and cultural community.

Scholarships guidelines:

    The Ibsen Scholarships award innovative projects in the field of drama and performing arts.
    The projects must act as incentives for critical discourse in regards to existential and society-related subject matters concerning Henrik Ibsen and his plays.

According to Abu Dhabi Police records, 61 deaths during the last year were a result of exceeding the legal speed limits.

Brigadier Eng. Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Directorate at the Abu Dhabi Police, said: “Of the total number of deaths caused by traffic accidents, 23 percent of the deaths are attributed to speeding.”

Brigadier Al Harithi warned against exceeding the legal speed limits. “The higher the speed is, the less time there is to stop - which makes it more difficult to avoid traffic accident,” he said. “It is imperative that motorists respect the legal speed limits in order to avoid traffic accidents that may result in deaths and injuries.”
