Al Ain Police Directorate recently organized a blood drive at its headquarters. The campaign, organized in collaboration with the Regional Blood Bank at Tawam Hospital, witnessed significant turnout from the directorate’s officers, constables and female police staff members.
Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, Director of the Al Ain Police Directorate at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters said that blood donation is a humanitarian duty and a community-based initiative aimed at encouraging community members to donate blood.
Adding further, he noted that the drive revives the noble humanitarian values; stressing the paramount importance of blood donation to provide help to patients in need, as well as building a strong relationship with the various community institutions.
