Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, and President of Dubai Health Authority, the 12th Congress of the Arab Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation (ASNRT) & the 6th ISN-EMAN update course in Nephrology commenced today at InterContinental Dubai Festival City, Dubai, UAE. H.E. Engineer Essa Al Haj Al Maidoor, Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) UAE inaugurated and welcomed the attendees with his speech.

The 4 day event ensures a great learning and networking experience, offering courses starting on the first day which includes Peritoneal Dialysis Course and Vascular Access Course. It is followed by the exciting program focusing on Clinical Nephrology, Dialysis and Transplantation over the three days. In addition, the event will also host the 2nd ISN Middle East Regional Workshop on the 13th of December.

An outstanding array of international and regional speakers is joining the meeting together with the aim of reviewing recent advances in major areas of Nephrology. They have contributed significantly to advancements in their respective fields and will share their experiences with the attendees.

Playing an active role in the advancement of nephrology services in the region, the ANSRT has remarkably grown to include more than 2000 members from all the countries in the Arab region. This year, for the first time in UAE, ASNRT is holding the 12th edition of their congress alongside the 6th ISN-EMAN Meeting.
