The training and inspection centre is the latest addition to our current training schools in Houston, Texas - covering North and South America and Singapore - covering APAC.
The centre, one of a global network being established by ATEC, features classrooms and a fully equipped state-of-the-art hands-on lab assessment area.
“Currently, we are the only company that provides competency training to all three major industry standards, NEC, IEC and AS/NZS through our training schools in Houston, Texas, Singapore and now Dubai,” said Tommy Sutherland, Managing Director. “ATEC has become the 'go-to' company for clients that work in the world of potentially explosive atmospheres and is the only company in the USA that can deliver AS/NZS training and the only company worldwide that can offer CompEx NEC505 which aligns with API RP14FZ practices in the USA and Middle East. The exciting addition of the Dubai centre is in line with our major growth and development plans.”
CompEx is the Leading International Competency and Assessment Certification Scheme for electrotechnical and mechanical practitioners working in Explosive Atmospheres. The three centers will offer these courses, along with other courses including IECEx / ATEX Fundamentals, IECEx Certificate of Personal Competency Ex 001 along with our own range of Design Engineer, Fundamentals of Ex, and bespoke electro technical courses at client request.
