ISO bestowed the title of Quality Knight upon media personality Nashwa Al Ruwaini, CEO of Pyramedia.
Al Ruwaini received the prestigious recognition for her accomplishments in media during the Quality Knights Festival, a grand event held in Dubai on the occasion of World Quality Day to honor the awardees for achieving excellence and creativity in their fields.
The elite group of innovative and distinguished women from Arab countries were selected for the Quality Knight Award by the higher committee of the festival and were presented with the awards by international quality expert Mark Hamill, and Eng. Tarek Hamdan, Regional Director of theInternational Organization for Peace, Care and Relief, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Goodwill Club. The ceremony was filled with a charming and celebrative ambiance, and was attended by a select group of media personalities, actors, actresses, and business professionals.
Al Ruwaini was honored alongside Sheikha Aisha Bint Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Consultative Committee of the Sharjah Supreme Council of Family Affairs; Egyptian actresses Lebleba and Somaya Al Khashab; and Emirati singer Ahlam.
Al Ruwaini was recognized for her accomplishments and successful media career, beginning with her impressive start as the youngest female presenter for several radio stations and Arabic satellite channels. Later working with the MBC Group in London, she created a number of regional and international alliances, and launched a number of innovative TV shows and projects that garnered considerable amounts of awards for exposing controversial issues in the Middle East.
Pyramedia, Al Ruwaini’s own media production company, is now one of the largest production companies in the region with the highly popular shows: Million's Poet, Prince of Poets, Nashwa, A Tale of an Arab Woman, and Sabah Al Dar. Al Ruwaini also established, and currently manages, a number of economic firms, and medical and educational projects with a group of prominent figures.
Al Ruwaini expressed her delight in receiving the title from the ISO, a renowned international entity tantamount with prestigious organizations. She said, “I am extremely pleased to receive my second recognition from ISO in less than year, and to see that the recipients include leading personalities from the Arab world.”
