MoI Discusses Revisions to Training Curricula for Leadership Courses

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - Wednesday, October 29th 2014 [ME NewsWire]

The Standing Higher Committee for Human Resources at the Ministry of Interior discussed proposed amendments to the training curricula for senior, middle and higher leaderships’ development programs. This would boost the officers’ efficiency in policing and internal security operations and improve their performance in carrying out their security duties.

The Committee’s 8th meeting for the year 2014 was attended by all members and chaired by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior for Resources and Support Services in his office. The attendees reviewed the draft proposal pertaining to signing a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Higher Education. This agreement will encompass training, academic guidance and scientific research to achieve the UAE strategy that aims to develop scientific and practical intellect of the Ministry of Interior’s staff members. It will also support and encourage information exchange in the area of conferences and symposia that are of interest to both parties.
