Under the patronage of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the 2014 Economic Sustainability Forum will be held tomorrow at the Conrad Hotel in Dubai. The forum is organized by the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development at the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the Dubai Police General Headquarters; and a large number of businessmen will be in attendance.

Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, stated that the forum organized by the Ministry of Interior is based on the directives of the police leadership to strengthen the competitive position of the UAE on a global scale. These directives come at a time when the quality of security and safety has become a prerequisite in the world and intend to provide access to a secure life for everyone living in the UAE. Major General Al Nuaimi referred to the keenness of H.H. for the UAE to be among the top countries in the world for safety and security through the concerted efforts and joint cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and our society- which the business sector is an integral part of.

The forum will discuss a number of topics, most notably the strategic plan of the Ministry of Interior which its vision stresses that the UAE becomes one of the safest and secure countries. It will also discuss the top achievements that have been made in the fields of security, safety, traffic and civil defence, community, provision of services, and competitiveness within the UAE. The discussions will be punctuated by open dialogue and the exchanging of views regarding the topics on the table for discussion.
