Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - Thursday, August 7th 2014 [ME NewsWire]

Brigadier General Dr. Saif Bu Dhufaira Al Ameri, Director General of Security and Ports Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police, praised the mutual coordination and cooperation in training fields among police and security agencies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. He also stressed the importance of the training process as it has the potential to enhance technical skills, develop performance levels, and exchange knowledge and expertise in different fields.

These remarks were made by Brigadier General Dr. Saif Bu Dhufaira Al Ameri, Director General of Security and Ports Affairs, at the graduation ceremony of the Forensic Experts course that was organized by the Training Department in coordination with the Crime Scene Department. The course objective was to foster the practical and scientific relationship processes between forensic and crime scene experts. Such relations would enhance onsite coordination and identify participants with the procedural crime scene processes. Brigadier General Dr. Al Ameri handed the graduates their graduation certificates and awarded a participant from the sisterly kingdom of Bahrain with the General Directorate’s Shield.

Brigadier General Dr. Al Ameri congratulated the graduates and wished them success in performing their duties. He then welcomed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Director of the Forensic Evidence Department’s participation in the specialized course. He viewed this participation as an embodiment of the close cooperation in the field of training.

Additionally, Brigadier General Dr. Al Ameri stressed the keenness of the Abu Dhabi Police to communicate and cooperate with GCC police and security agencies and to promote mutually beneficial exchanges of expertise in security fields, especially in the field of training.

For his part, Colonel Qutami Al Qutami, Head of the Criminal Evidence Directorate at Bahrain Police, praised the scientific standard of the Forensic Experts course. He also lauded the extensive information he attained related to the coordination processes that forensic evidence experts need to implement while working with crime scene experts onsite.
