The Al Ain Police Directorate congratulated Al Ain Sports Club, for winning the HH President of the UAE’s Cup, in the  one-day event hosted by the directorate.  The Cup’s trophy was received by Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, Director of the Al Ain Police Directorate, while meeting Obeid Al Dhaheri, Al Ain Club Honorary Board Secretary at his office on Thursday. The decision to host the President’s Cup was intended to allow Al Ain Clun’s fans among officers and police staff members at the directorate, to take commemorative pictures and express their love and sense of belonging to their club.
Brigadier Al Amimi said that the grand feat accomplished by Al Ain Sports Club’s in winning the President’s Cup trophy is considered a source of pride and a great achievement for the UAE.  It personifies the higher leadership’s support to the sports sector in the country, by encouraging young people to practice sports, due to its significant importance in positively investing their potentials and capabilities.
He added:”The Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, represented by Al Ain Police Directorate and under the directives of the police leadership, is endeavoring diligently to provide the necessary services that help facilitate the work of the local entities and authorities that serve society, including Al Ain Sports Club, which plays a vital role in influencing young people and efficiently contributes to raising awareness among them and helps the police institution in providing high-quality services.”
For his part, Obeid Al Dhaheri praised the tremendous efforts exerted by the directorate through its ongoing collaboration with the Club’s administration. He also noted that the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ is one of the key supporters of Al Ain Club’s sporting aspects.
He also indicated that following the directives of Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Khaled Al Nayhan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain FC, it has been decided to let the UAE President’s Cup undertake a tour on all governmental and local departments and bodies in Al Ain city, in recognition and gratitude for their support of the Club’s bid in the Championship. At the end of the visit, both sides exchanged commemorative gifts and took pictures.
