Al Ain Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department hosted  a delegation from Al Ain FC Team, winner of HH UAE President’s  Cup. The visit is part of the team's tour to all local and governmental departments and authorities in Al Ain City, in recognition and gratitude for their support of the club's bid in the championship.

Colonel Khalifa Matar Balquba' Al Humairi, Director of the Residency and Foreigners' Affairs Department in Al Ain, greeted the visiting delegation, which includes the club’s Executive Director, the Honorary Board Secretary and the Government Relations Officer. Colonel Al Humairi commended the Club's tour with the prestigious Cup, which is very symbolic, “as it was named after HH President of the UAE, the supreme leader and father to us all and the key driver behind every achievement made in the country.”

He added: “The Al Ain Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department is keen to achieve constant cooperation with partners on all levels and in different areas of work. Al Ain Club is a strategic partner of the department on different levels. There is a cooperation and partnership relation between both parties to achieve the vision and goal of both institutions in the service of Al Ain society." He also expressed his thanks for Al Ain Club for the kind gesture towards his fans among employees and customers of governmental departments by allowing them to see the prestigious Cup up-close, which reveals the club’s administration’s sense of loyalty.”

The delegation members expressed the club's gratitude and appreciation for the Al Ain Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department for supporting the club’s first football team's journey during the previous and current seasons, which culminated in the team's qualification to the AFC Champions League the last-eight and winning HH UAE President’s Cup. “Today, we express our pride for this win by undertaking a tour on government departments to display the prestigious Cup to employees and customers who represent the number one player in Al Ain FC team and its moral supporter in all championships and tournaments,” they said; stressing that visiting fans at their workplace is an expression of appreciation for their permanent support of the team.

During their tour on the department’s various services sections, the Al Ain FC team members took pictures with the Head of Department, officers, employees and customers.
