Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, met on Tuesday, a team of senior homicide investigators from the British Metropolitan police, who contributed to the arrest of the suspects involved in the brutal attack on the three sisters Emirati at their London hotel back in April.
At the time, Abu Dhabi Police sent two teams to the United Kingdom, as per the higher leadership’s directives, following the shocking assault on the Emirati nationals (Ohoud, Khuloud and Fatima). The second team, from the Social Support Centers Department, was in charge of providing psychological support to the victims of this tragic accident.
His Highness Sheikh Saif praised the efforts of the joint team of Abu Dhabi Police and the UK’s Metropolitan Police to uncover the circumstances of the attack and identify the assailants, including the main suspect who attacked the three Emirati sisters with a hammer. Furthermore, His Highness Sheikh Saif lauded the distinguished security cooperation between the UK and the United Arab Emirates authorities.
