Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior met today “Sunday” at the Ministry of Interior, Deputy Minister of Public Security Sen. Lieut. Gen. Dang Van Hieu of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and his accompanying delegation. The Deputy Minister who is currently on a two days visit to the UAE will meet a number of officials in police departments and facilities at the Ministry of Interiors.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest, and ways to promote cooperation and collaboration in all security fields between the UAE’s Ministry of Interior and its counterpart at the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier Mohammed Ghadir Al Ketbi, Deputy Director General of the Federal Criminal Police; Colonel Abdul Wahid Al Hammadi, Acting Head of the Interpol Department at the Ministry of Interior; Colonel Hussein Mahmoud Al Awadhi, Acting Head of the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior; Lt. Colonel Ahmed Saeed Al Mazroui, Head of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Interior; and members of the visiting delegation of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides exchanged commemorative gifts.
