While pursuing His inspection visits to Police Sectors in Ajman

Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior, reviewed the work processes and strategic plans at the Ajman Civil Defense General Directorate, the Customer Service Center at the Traffic and Licensing Services Department in Ajman, and the Customer Service Center at the Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department in Ajman. He stressed the importance of striving to develop work mechanisms and provide excellent services to the public, in pursuance of the higher leadership’s instructions to improve security and safety according to the highest international standards.
H.E Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior discussed the latest challenges and obstacles during his tour, which falls in line with the field visits program to all police sectors. He hailed the efforts exerted by staff members and their achievements that have earned those sectors many local and international awards. He also urged them to ensure the speedy completion of customers’ transactions and to streamline their procedures.
Lt. General Al Sha’far said that the UAE is witnessing a significant growth and a rapid development in all fields of work and life aspects. “To this end, all directorates and departments at the Ministry of Interior are required to keep pace with this growth and development.
During his visit to the Ajman Civil Defense General Directorate, H.E Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior was accompanied by Brigadier Ali Abdullah Alwan, Commander in-Chief of Ajman Police. He reviewed the strategies and plans applied in the field of firefighting and rescue. Also present was Brigadier Saleh Saeed Al Matrooshi, Director General of Civil Defense in Ajman.
H.E Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior listened to a presentation about the work process in the various sections, branches, and centers affiliated to the directorate. He was also briefed about the response time in case of crisis and the collaboration and coordination between police and different departments and institutions to handle incidents in the best possible way, as well as the plans implemented by the directorate and its initiatives and achievements during the past months.
Lt. General Al Sha’far directed Civil Defense General Directorate of Ajman to devise plans to develop the services infrastructure, which would help reduce fires and minimize losses in property. He also gave his instructions to focus on training and scientific and professional qualification of the civil defense staff.
He also reviewed the level of services provided at the Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department in Ajman, where he was briefed about the various stages of customer service since welcoming customers and receiving their requests down to completing transactions, as well as the level of services provided to them. Lt. General Al Sha’far was accompanied by Brigadier Mohammed Abdullah Alwan, Director General for Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ajman.
He was also briefed about the future projects and programs that embody the Ministry of Interior’s strategy, to develop work processes in all fields of security and police work. He toured the Building of Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department in Ajman and was acquainted with the work flow and procedures.
Lt. General Al Sha’far also reviewed the work processes at the Customer Service Center at the Traffic and Licensing Services Department in Ajman, where he was acquainted with the means of overcoming obstacles and urged employees to streamline customers’ services. He also reviewed a statistic report about the number or traffic accidents and violations, the number of cars registered in the emirate and the number of driving licenses issued per day, as well as the most important services provided by the center. Lt. General Al Sha’far was accompanied by Brigadier Sheikh Sultan Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Deputy Commander in Chief of Ajman Police, and Lieutenant Colonel Shoaib Abdulla Kajour, Acting Director of the Customer Service Center.
