Ahmed bin Nasser Delivers lecture on cybercrimes at Emirates College

First Lieutenant Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser bin Zayed Al Nahyan from Abu Dhabi Police recently delivered a lecture on cybercrimes at the Emirates College of Technology in its Abu Dhabi headquarters. The lecture was attended by Bruce Taylor, President of the College; Dr. Mahmoud Samouda, Dean of the Emirates College of Technology; Mohannad Al Shayeb, Director of Student Affairs and Registration; along with members of the administrative and teaching staff,  male and female students.

The lecturer gave an overview of the types and risks of cybercrimes. He also highlighted the Abu Dhabi Police’s efforts in combating cybercrimes, and called on students to maintain the privacy of their electronic devices.

Students praised the lecturer’s approach to this sensitive topic. In response to their queries, he stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police GHQ to warn community members against the risks of cybercrimes and enhance their awareness on the need to be cautious; emphasizing the importance of family in this aspect.

At the end of the lecture, the college presented a commemorative gift to First Lieutenant Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser.
