The Ministry of Interior discussed enhancing cooperation and joint coordination with the Federal Customs Authority in regard to the different relevant fields of specialization. This took place during the meeting of the Joint Higher Committee which was held at the Ittihad Hall in the ministry headquarters, presided by H.E. Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior.
The meeting falls under the ongoing cooperation and joint coordination between the Ministry of Interior, the Federal Customs Authority and the local customs in order to address the commercial and customs practices, as the Federal Customs Authority is one of the most significant strategic partners with the ministry in this regard.
A number of topics on the agenda were discussed during the meeting, in addition to ways of enhancing cooperation and joint coordination between the two sides.
