The Ministry of Interior honored quality and Excellence teams in celebration of the Ministry of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters achievements in past years that helped promote the police work to advanced international levels.

Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Head of the Quality and Excellence Team, affirmed that: “honoring the innovators and distinguished staff in quality teams embodies the Abu Dhabi Police’s strategy and vision of sustainable and continuous development. It is also an appreciation of efforts that help enhance and develop work mechanisms in all fields.”

He said the in his speech to the honored staff from quality and Excellence teams during the recent celebration held at Abu Dhabi Police Officers Club.

The head of the Quality and Excellence Team explained that the upcoming stage requires more efforts in the excellence field, especially that the Ministry will be facing competition from European countries. He added: “this calls to the mobilization of creative ideas and innovative interventions that position the Ministry in the right spot especially that our wise leadership headed by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, provided all capacities that help developing work mechanisms. The wise policy of our leadership also contributed in reaching this high level of safety and security.”

He pointed out that the Ministry of Interior is proud of this success and excellence achieved today, as they constitute a motivation for all workers to adopt constructive ideas and develop mechanisms affecting the quality performance and service provided to the public.

Al Awadhi clarified that honoring these groups of Emiratis points out clearly to their love for this country, and their loyalty towards its leaders and rulers. He stressed that the development, culture and prosperity in the country was established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and was continued by the UAE Rulers and its great people.

The celebration began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran followed by a poem for the Poet Captain Mohammed Bala’ala Al Harithi in which he highlighted the importance of excellence and its role in elevating the country and improving our personal lives. The sponsor of the event then distributed appreciation certificates for the honored staff from the leading committee and the 21 work teams.
