The Federal Police School at Sharjah recently celebrated the graduation of five training courses. The courses covered: a Foundational English Language course for officers, in collaboration with Police Officers Training Institute; two Musical Dimensions courses (first and second); the 23rd Foundational Relationships Course; and the first Productivity and Performance Improvement in Female Police Work. 84 female and male participants from various Ministry of Interior departments and leaderships took part in the courses.

Brigadier General Dr. Abdullah Ali Saeed bin Sahoo, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah witnessed, at the Federal Police School Headquarters, the graduation of the Foundational English Language course. He asserted that the training which the participants have received will effectively develop their skills and capabilities to their best levels. This development will enhance the performance of security and police services that the MoI is providing to the public.

For his part, Brigadier Ahmed Abdullah Al Hajri, Director of the Federal Police School commented on the graduation of both Musical Dimensions courses (first and second): “The Police Music Band strives to keep pace with recent technological developments by adding new musical programs and techniques that are adopted by international bands.”

“The Police Music Band has always been working hard to compose innovative music that is nourished by national conscious and identity which are connected to our genuine heritage. Our traditional heritage reflects the culture and folklore themes that enriched our artistic library with many innovations that history bears witness to. Every nation works hard to develop its music that suits its cultural heritage,” Brigadier Al Hajri added.

Additionally, Brigadier Al Hajri pointed out that the Police Music Band is in an ongoing search and review of modern national songs and musical compositions. For this reason, the Police Music Band was able to win the admiration and satisfaction of all those who attended its various shows. Certificates were awarded to courses graduates at the end of the graduation ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Colonel Dr. Jasim Al Bakr, Deputy Director of the Federal Police School.
