To help settle inmates’ outstanding financial debts

Al Faraj Relief Fund at the Ministry of Interior is participating in the third edition of the Ataya Annual Exhibition that is organized by the Red Crescent Authority between the 5th and 7th of May. The proceeds of this exhibition will help settle inmates’ outstanding financial debts and provide assistance to their families.
Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Chairman of Al Faraj Relief Fund, valued the Red Crescent Authority’s initiative to choose the Fund as a key partner for the Ataya Exhibition, to highlight the plight of debt-laden and financially-faltering inmates of the Punitive and Correctional Establishments and their families.
He called upon the various state institutions and sectors; businessmen; philanthropists and good doers to support the Fund’s charitable work, to help indigent inmates at the Punitive and Correctional Establishments overcome their debts, and provide a decent living for their families, so they can return to normal life.
Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi said: "The acts of benevolence undertaken by the Fund complement the government's long-standing history of charity and distinguished humanitarian deeds." He emphasized that the Fund will pursue its philanthropic work through purposeful continuous programs. This comes in line with the Faraj Fund’s efforts to further mobilize support charity work for the inmates’ benefit, covering all aspect of humanitarian work, with a view to improve the quality of life of inmates in the UAE and relieve them of their burdens.”
