The Abu Dhabi Police examined the latest equipment of the new light-duty vehicles technical inspection center that was recently inaugurated in Al Ain. It also reviewed the new center’s mechanisms aimed at providing services to the public, in cooperation with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
Colonel Mohamed Mayouf Al Kutbi, Head of Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Abu Dhabi Police, expressed his admiration of the different resources available at the center for the service of Abu Dhabi Police customers. He also praised the valuable and fruitful cooperation with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) in this regard; stressing the need to pursue and expand this cooperation to the highest levels in the future. He urged the center’s employees to provide high-quality vehicles and drivers licensing services to residents of Al Bateen and the neighboring areas, and to complete their transactions as required, rapidly and accurately.
For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Ali Salem Al Dir’e, Chief of Vehicle Licensing Section in Al Ain said: “This center is the fourth in a series of centers that the department intends to complete in the city of Al Ain, to provide vehicles and drivers licensing services to citizens. These services include registration of new vehicles, renewal of vehicle licenses, issuance of driving licenses for new drivers and renewal of expired driving licenses, issuance of round trip certificates for vehicles, vehicle ownerships’ transfer and other services that are provided regularly.” He noted that a special section was allocated for women, and announced that work is underway on the fifth technical inspection center in Mazyad in Al Ain, which will be completed soon, as per best advanced standards.
For his part, Mohammed Abdullah Al Dhaheri, Senior Vice President of Retail sector at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company praised the valuable cooperation and coordination between (ADNOC) and Abu Dhabi Police within the various institutions of the Abu Dhabi government.
