Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, attended the graduation ceremony of 5 officers and non-commissioned officers from the General Directorate of Central Operations; who obtained a Professional Diploma in Training Management and Career Development from the Educational Technology Training Center, which is accredited by the Ain Shams University in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Major General Al Raisi stressed the importance of developing the skills and competencies of staff members, so as to enhance the performance of duties with high efficiency. He also praised the efforts undertaken by the General Directorate of Central Operations’ staff members and their keenness to achieve excellence, and distributed the certificates to the graduates.

It is worth mentioning that the diploma program’s curriculum included intensive courses, practical applications, and written exams. The courses highlighted the concept of training as well as the objectives, functions, and duties of the Training Department at Abu Dhabi Police, in addition to the means of identifying training needs. The diploma program’s curriculum also included a specialized course on the way to implement training activities and evaluate training, using the "Kirkpatrick” learning and training evaluation model.

At the end of the ceremony, the Director General of Central Operations received a copy of the booklet titled "Training …Concept and Duties" from Captain Nasser Al Saadi. The booklet is a summary of the diploma program’s curriculum presented in a simplified way, to be used later by the training staff members.   

The graduation ceremony was attended by Dr. Ibrahim Al Sayed, Director of the Technology Center; Captain Ahmed Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Chief of the Planning Section at the Training Department, the Directorate General of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Police; and the graduates: Captain Nasser Abdullah Al Saadi; Lieutenant Abdul Latif Salim Mubarak; Lieutenant Adnan Ali Al Hosani; Lieutenant Mohammed Jassem Al Hosani; First Warrant Officer Tariq Saleh Al Kindi; and First Warrant Officer Khaled Al Marzouqi.
