The Operations Department in the Abu Dhabi Police recently completed a charter for organizational excellence, to keep track of achievements and provide evidences. Lt. Colonel Nasser Suleiman Al Maskari, Head of the Operations Department received the organizational excellence model from Major Issa Abdulla Al Marzouqi, Strategic Planning Branch Manager.

Lt. Colonel Al Maskari said that the charter reflects the sense of belonging and loyalty among the branch’s staff members. He also pointed out that this experience will be fully deployed to include all sections and branches after holding the "RADAR 999 Model” assessment sessions at the excellence laboratory.

The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense General Directorate discussed coordination with labor camps to carry out evacuation plans at the labor camps, the importance of the security and safety conditions in these camps, training security guards in these camps to carry out rescue and evacuation operations, and the way to act in case of such incidents.

Lt. Colonel Hamad Saeed Al Riyami, Director of Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Stations Department recently held a meeting with managers and owners of labor camps, at the Civil Defense Station in Al Maqtaa.

Al Riyami stressed the importance of evacuation drills as part of the Civil Defense strategy aimed at strengthening coordination, support and outstanding performance to counter crises and disasters. "The Emergency Procedure Manual will be implemented along with operating plans and precautionary measures to prevent or minimize losses,” pointed out Al Riyami.
