Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Department’s air ambulance airlifted a 48 -hour old newborn baby, and transported him from Delma Hospital in the Western Region to Al Rahba Hospital in Abu Dhabi, due to his deteriorating health.
The baby received the necessary first aid assistance on board from the air ambulance’s medical team, and was put in the neonatal transport incubator to stabilize his condition.
It is worth mentioning that the Air Wing Department’s air ambulances are fully equipped with the necessary rescue tools and equipment to ensure patients’ safety and provide a life-saving rapid response emergency service. It also has pilots and medical personnel that are prepared to deal with in-flight emergencies.
