Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, said: "Security and safety are the core components of life and survival.  They are the key elements to countries’ progress and nations’ happiness. In the absence of security and safety, businesses are disrupted, rights are taken away, chaos and disorder reign. As such, our country has placed security and safety at the heart of its strategy, towards achieving nation-wide stability and prosperity for each and every society segment. Today, police forces have greater responsibilities; the country’s leadership and citizens’ expectations of the police force have continued to push police officers’ role beyond public order and crime prevention. Thus, meeting these expectations is a national duty and a non negotiable moral obligation.”

These remarks were made by His Highness Sheikh Saif during the graduation ceremony. Sheikh Saif added: "The countless successes, which were achieved by the Ministry of Interior, both locally and internationally, are a clear testament to the generous care of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and the unstinting follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, in addition to the efforts of General HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to empower the development, prosperity and stability of the country.

Sheikh Saif added: "The Police College undertook the responsibility to prepare and qualify a new generation of modern police forces that keep abreast of all developments.  It spares no efforts to educate students and train them to fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to them and meet the hopes and expectations of the leadership, citizens, and visitors of the UAE. Everyone in this country highly praises the safety, security and stability enjoyed by our beloved homeland. This was a result of the good planning and tireless efforts made by the country’s leadership to lead this nation safely into a prosperous future.” Concluding his statement, Sheikh Saif said: "It’s not exaggeration to say that the Police College has become one of the most leading educational institutions for law enforcement officers in the country. It has become a prestigious academic establishment thanks to the diligent and constant support of the country’s leadership. It continues to provide the Ministry of Interior with qualified staff members, who assume various leadership positions, in order to serve the country and the public. The Police College will undeniably pursue its efforts and development plans to maintain its distinguished position and its valuable role; because maintaining success is much harder than gaining it.”

They are the two 24th batches of male cadets and university graduates, and the 8th batch of female university graduates.”
