During its first meeting for 2014, the Emergency, Crises and Disaster team discussed a number of topics on the agenda, including business continuity plans, guidebook, and resources and capabilities management.
The meeting, held at the Armed Forces Offices Club, was headed by Major General Staff Dr. Obeid Al Kutbi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the team; in the presence of the team members and a number of officials.
Following the meeting, Major General Al Kutbi said: "The general framework for identifying risks was tackled during the meeting; the Executive Committee Chairman presented a comprehensive report on the past year’s achievements. Moreover, the attendees reviewed the workflow, in accordance with the established timetable for the response plan, in a bid to enhance joint action.”
