Saif Bin Zayed Chairs the MoI Policies Council‘s Meeting

The Policies and Strategies Council at the Ministry of Interior discussed the means to activate the ministry’s role in implementing the UAE’s national agenda which will culminate with the achievement of the ‘UAE Vision 2021’, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai in all sectors.
During the meeting, which was recently held at Al Ittihad Hall at the ministry’s headquarters and chaired by Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, a number of topics related to the development of police work, as per the most advanced international standards were also discussed.
The Council’s first meeting in 2014, was attended by Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior; Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Dubai Police and General Security; and Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of H.H. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. Also attending were Major General Staff Dr. Obeid Al Kutbi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police; Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior for Resources and Support Services; Major General Khamis Matar Al Muzainah, Commander General of the Dubai Police; along with police commanders and directors-general in the state.
