Allows Registration, Issuing and Renewal of Expired Driving Licenses ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Monday, January 20th 2014 [ME NewsWire]
In collaboration with Khadamati, an integrated asset management company, the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Abu Dhabi Police is offering its services at the Emirates Motor Company (EMC) (Mercedes–Benz facility) on the Airport Road, where a new office was recently opened in order to offer all licensing services to customers more easily.
Colonel Suhail Al Khaili, Chief of the Vehicles Licensing Section at the Abu Dhabi Police Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department, said that the new office will cater to the needs of the company’s customers, employees and its affiliates. The wide range of services provided by the new office include: the issuing and renewal of expired driving licenses, replacement of lost driving licenses, and the registration, issuance and renewal of vehicle registration cards. "Such a step saves time and effort as it doesn’t require people to go to the department building or any other branch in Abu Dhabi to get their transaction done,” said Al Khaili.
Colonel Al Khaili emphasized that the new office provides high quality services and rapid and accurate completion of all transactions for customers. He mentioned that the department intends to open similar offices in the future to keep up with drivers’ growing demand for registration services in Abu Dhabi. It is also in pursuance of the government’s vision to provide citizens and residents with accessible services wherever they are. Al Khaili invited other companies to take the initiative and to suggest the opening of new licensing offices so that they can benefit from the easy access to all services.
Mr. Kamal Rafih, Emirates Motor Company General Manager stated that the opening of Abu Dhabi Police’s new licensing office at the company helps improve the quality of services and saves customer’s time and effort by providing them with registration services at the company’s showroom on the Airport Road. "We extend our thanks and appreciation to the Abu Dhabi Police for their initiative to have the office here. This shall enhance the partnership between them and all other sectors that provide various easy and high quality services to individuals,” he said.
Major Saif Al Zaabi, Vehicles Licensing Branch Manager at the Abu Dhabi Police Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department, and a number of Emirates Motor Company (EMC) employees attended the meeting.
