In its recent meeting, the Al Ain Traffic Section, at the Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate, discussed the major causes of traffic accidents and their resulting minor and major injuries, as well as deaths. The meeting that took place at the Section Headquarters was chaired by Major Saif Muhammed Naeif Al Ameri, Acting Chief of Al Ain Traffic and Patrols Section at the Traffic and Patrols Directorate, in the presence of all branch managers.
"The Al Ain Traffic Section and its different branches are discharging their duties to the fullest, whether through direct traffic control on roads or through traffic education at all times and various events, which helps achieve the Abu Dhabi Police’s strategy of making roads safer,” said Major Al Ameri.
He added that more cooperation will take place between the Accidents Branch and Radar Units in order to set up radars at the locations of major accidents, especially dangerous ones, in an effort to make roads safer.
"All drivers must abide by the traffic rules that regulate the use of roads for both motorists and pedestrians in order to save the lives of people on the roads. Field awareness campaigns and educational campaigns through media outlets will be intensified in order to increase educational awareness levels for the public in the upcoming stage,” he assured.
