Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior, met 20 members from the Creativity Development Program at the ministry’s lectures hall. The program is organized by the Leadership Development and Creativity Center at the General Secretariat of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior.
The undersecretary emphasized how Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, is keen on supporting the program. This support is the result of His Highness’ faith in the importance of creative discovery and patronage. His Highness also believes that creative staff members and personnel will help nurture young creative leaders so that they will be able to achieve excellence and prominence. These leaders should be able to provide society with the creative segments that are capable of facing challenges during this period of ongoing change and rapid development.
Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far explained that the program is a unique opportunity for this generation to prepare to establish creative leaderships that are able to take on future responsibilities and that are capable of facing security challenges and work on developing the Ministry of Interior to be among the most developed and excellent ministries, both regionally and internationally. He also pointed out that the ministry’s strategy of supporting creative staff is the result of the police leadership’s commitment to them. The police leadership has honored the creative staff by supporting them and developing their talents and skills through specific programs that are designed based on the best international methods.
Lt. General Al Sha’far noted that the program’s successes that have been achieved locally and internationally, have doubled the responsibilities of its members, specifically the creative ones, to act as a team in order to maintain these national accomplishments. More responsibilities mean having more work to do in order to maintain the highest standards, and to lead on international levels.
Lt. General Al Sha’far urged members from the first batch of graduates from the Creativity Development Program at the Leadership Development and Creativity Center at the Ministry of Interior to keep up their best efforts in order to help address all challenges and learn about recent developments and technologies that will help them improve the future of the country and its development. As they are the future leaders, they are the means for the government to achieve its main goal of transforming the UAE in to one of the safest and most secure countries. Concluding his speech, he wished them good luck and success.
Lt. Colonel Saif Hamid Al Dir’e, Director of the Leadership Development and Creativity Center, attended the meeting, along with Major Fahed Al Hosani, Chief of the Creativity Sponsorship Section at the Leadership Development and Creativity Center, and members of the Creativity Development Program.
