The Secretariat of the Higher Organizing Committee of the International Security, Safety and National Resilience Exhibition "ISNR 2014” discussed the subcommittees’ work plans, and what has been achieved so far, in addition to the obstacles and requirements that still need to be met. The secretariat also reviewed recent occurrences and developments in preparation of the exhibition and conference that will be held in Abu Dhabi from April 1 to April 3.
Brigadier Saeed Salim Al Henki, Director General of Finance & Support Services at the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Organizing Scientific Committee of the (ISNR) Conference, headed the meeting. The meeting, which was held in the Etihad Hall at the ministry’s headquarters, was also attended by the heads and members of the subcommittees.
Brigadier Al Henki welcomed the attendees and praised their efforts. He encouraged them to show more enthusiasm so that the exhibition and conference could be among the best of these events in the MENA region and among the top five international exhibitions and conferences globally.
"We have traveled for a long distance on our journey in preparing and organizing the exhibition and conference,” said Brigadier Al Henki. "We are left with limited time to achieve excellence. The police leadership was specific and clear: nothing less than 100% is acceptable. We proudly took this responsibility.”
Furthermore, he assured the importance of teamwork and collaboration among all committees and partners. He noted that this collaboration made it easier to face challenges and a successful exhibition and conference.
Brigadier Al Henki also viewed the event’s venue and its different pavilions. He explained that the International Conference on Security Challenges is held within the framework of the exhibition on March 31. After that, the opening event will take place, and will be followed by two conferences that will take place over the course of three days. The first conference will address cybercrimes, while the other will address professional health and safety. Various workshops will also be held during the exhibition.
The Secretariat meeting also witnessed a review of the International Conference on Security Challenges’ timeframe and work papers. The opening event, which is being organized by one of the international companies that specializes in organizing big events, was also discussed. Additionally, the secretariat discussed the suggested notes and made the necessary amendments. The opening event is meant to deliver an educational, fun awareness message for the public via a live show. It will be divided into two parts.
