ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Wednesday, January 8th 2014 [ME NewsWire]
The Al Ain Social Support Center, represented by the Children and Youth Branch, has launched its family-oriented educational program titled "My Identity, My Pride”. It is worth mentioning that this program reflects the branch’s attention towards the issues relating to "child visitation”. It aims to enable one of the child’s parents, the mother or father, to see their child either by court order, or by amicable agreement.
The program intends to enhance communication between parents and children, establish family stability and security, and bring joy to their hearts. The program featured a number of activities such as painting, and drawing. It also provided the children with an opportunity to demonstrate their skills, in addition to encouraging their creativity and love of sharing. Moreover, the program offered a face-painting activity for the children, along with a variety of entertaining competitions.
The working team organized cultural competitions for parents to foster the spirit of partnership and interaction between parents and children, and identify their concerns and needs. Furthermore, the families collaborating with the Social Support Center were honored, and relevant gifts and brochures were distributed.
