Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police, awarded 12 Officers from the Directorate General of Finance and Services, in the ranks of Captain and Lieutenant, with Medals of Long and Loyal Outstanding Service.
Major General Badran reiterated the keenness of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif binZayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, to honor distinguished and loyal staff members, as per the priorities of Abu Dhabi Police’s strategy. "This comes in line with the ADP’s continuous quest to achieve its goals, by bringing out and motivating the abilities and potentials of the Ministry of Interior’s staff members,” he continued.
The honoring ceremony, which was held at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, was also attended by Colonel Arif Al Shamsi, Head of Sports Clubs and Activities Department, and Colonel Ahmad Al Badi, Deputy Director of Abu Dhabi Police Financial Affairs.
Major General Badran congratulated the honored officers, stressing that this accolade reflects an appreciation for their dedicated efforts in the performance of their duties, and their diligence and perseverance to pursue police work during their long tenure. "The grand feat is not in the number of years spent in the police force, but in the unwavering diligent efforts exerted in the line of duty. Therefore, this honoring reflects the abiding faith of the Abu Dhabi Police in the importance of its staff members’ as the key asset behind its prestigious professional achievements and the pillar of its strength,” added Major General Badran.
The Director General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police valued the honorees’ efforts to develop their abilities and achieve excellence, which have become an inherent characteristic to the Abu Dhabi Police work and an incentive for their colleagues to follow suit. He called upon them to exert additional efforts and dedication in the service of their country, so as to protect the gains, and enhance security and stability in the UAE.
