Major General Staff Dr. Obeid Al Hiri Salim Al Kutbi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, praised H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Supreme Chairperson of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU) and Chairwoman of the Supreme Council of Motherhood & Childhood, for her role as a leader. Major General Staff Al Kutbi also commended H.H Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak for her faith in the country’s youth and her appreciation of their internationally-recognized competencies and creativity.
Major General Staff Al Kutbi made this statement at a ceremony that was recently held at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. The ceremony was organized by H.H Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak to honor the Abu Dhabi Police as a partner and supporter of the International Award of Arab Youth.
Sheikh Dhiyab in Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan honored the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Noor Al-Hussein of Jordan, Founder and President of the Board of Trustees of the King Hussein Foundation.
"The importance of this award lies in its ability to encourage youth and provide societies with excellent cadres,” said Major General Staff Al Kutbi. "The efforts made by H.H. Sheikha Fatima help motivate young people to improve their communities and develop their potential for their own benefit and the benefit of our nation.”
He explained that in line with its vision, the police leadership continuously supports all social activities, and is keen on collaborating with the various civil authorities and social institutions to create productive partnerships that will benefit the nation.
He pointed out that the support of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak was reflected in the institutions, clubs and youth centers. These institutions support young people’s ideas and help them embrace their creativity and hone their talents, out of the firm belief that youth are instrumental in achieving a bright future.
