ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Monday, January 6th 2014 [ME NewsWire] The registration of UAE citizens, GCC nationals, expatriate residents and visa holders started on Sunday at the Galleria Mall in Abu Dhabi for the E-Ports Project. The enrollment process witnessed a large turnout of applicants, as the number of registered people reached 505 on the first day. The Ministry of Interior urged the targeted groups to register for the E-Ports Project at the allocated location in the mall. The process will continue until next Thursday, January 9th, from 10 AM until 10 PM. For his part, Major Mohammad Ahmad Al Za’abi, Director of the E-Ports Project, said that in order to register for the project, applicants are required to bring their original passports. "The enrolment process is free of charge and takes no longer than 20 seconds. There is a designated area for women and people with special needs,” said Al Za’abi.
